BALLROOM BASIX Program Modules are new, specialized catalogues of dances, packaged together into different topics and themes that offer our students a greater understanding of multi-cultural awareness & appreciation, the chronological & relevant history of the dances we teach, and the worldwide impact these dances have had since their creation.

 

BBX recognizes the need to not only educate ourselves and our NYC students about respect for themselves, their teachers and all their classmates through the BBX Experience, but to cultivate an appreciation and awareness of the cultural heritages that are associated with the dances we teach, especially those that are firmly rooted in BIPOC* culture.
