Alfredo grew up in the Bronx with salsa music in the house and hip hop on the streets. His passion for music and dancing led him to become an instructor for over 20 years in American blues, Argentine tango, west coast swing, salsa, lindy, and more. He has focused heavily on body mechanics, communication, musicality, and the power of connection between partners. Over the years, Alfredo has appeared on multiple US television shows and has taught and performed at philanthropic galas, weddings, private and public events. He has competed and won at over 15  blues and west coast swing dance events and has also been invited to be a featured instructor in multiple dance events in North America, Australia, Asia, and Europe. While based in Hong Kong, he played a prominent role in building blues dance communities in Hong Kong, Shenzhen, Guangzhou, Changsha, Chengdu,and Hangzhou, and has contributed to the growing scenes in Shanghai, Beijing, and most recently, in London.
