Selicia is a senior at Brooklyn College studying Studio Art with a concentration in Digital Art with expectations to graduate in Spring of 2023. She studied marketing for some time and has gained a lot of real world experience. One being a former Co-Owner of Sweet Pea Beauty, an e-commerce vegan skincare company, where her main roles/departments were Marketing, Public Relations/Customer Service, and Social Media Content Creation/Strategizing. With her 10+ years experience in design and art she has started taking the reins of that title and is pursuing a career as a designer with a specialization in Brand Design. Implementing her Jamaican roots in her work–personally, academically, and professionally, is essential to her as she values her identity as a Black woman and advocates for inclusivity in all spaces. When she’s not working she enjoys creating art and taking trips to museums, meditating and balancing her chakras, and Christmas is her favorite holiday! Any opportunity she gets to help bring a vision to life is another moment of happiness because the ǽsthetic is her forte!
