Amanda Alch
Teaching Artist

Amanda is a Theatre Artist, Producer, and Performer with southern roots. Her artistic focus is on new plays by and for femme-presenting people. Amanda is passionate about bringing femmes into "the room where it happens" administratively and creatively. Memorable credits for theatre include: Dolly Parton Live, Casper with Chita Rivera, and the world premiere of Birdbrain. Memorable on camera film/television credits include: Claws, Ned's Declassified School Survival Guide, When Zachary Beaver Came to Town, and Birdie and Bogey. She is a graduate of The Actors Studio Drama School with a MFA in Directing and has her BFA from Loyola University in Theatre Arts. Amanda serves Ballroom Basix both administratively and as a teaching assistant with a focus on expansion, donor relations, and building lasting community relationships. She also has a love of swing dance, including lindy hop! Ask her for a twirl around the dance floor!
